If you’re about to improve the health and appearance of your smile with dental bonding in Mill Creek, Washington, then our Mill Creek General Dentistry team is happy to tell you what to expect during treatment!

When you come into our office and meet with Dr. Kerry Olszewski, you can expect the following treatment steps:

Step 1 – Preparation
Little preparation is needed for this treatment. The only thing your dentist needs to do is choose a bonding material that is the same shade as your natural teeth. That way you will have natural-looking and beautiful results.

Step 2 – The bonding process
Once the perfect bonding material is chosen, your dentist will roughen the surface of your tooth and will apply a conditioning liquid to it. Then, she will place the tooth-colored resin over the tooth and will mold and smooth it to the desired shape. Next, she will use an ultraviolet light or laser to harden the material. Once it’s hardened, your dentist will further trim and shape it to match the rest of the tooth’s surface.

Step 3 – Time to completion
The treatment time for dental bonding should only be 30 to 60 minutes per tooth.

Dental bonding is a beneficial and successful treatment that can repair decayed teeth, restore chipped teeth, improve the appearance of a discolored tooth, close spaces between teeth, and much more. To learn more about this treatment and how it can benefit you, please call our office at 425-337-5549 and talk to a member of our dental team. We are here to help you in any way we can, and we look forward to your phone call!
