Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your health.
Expect this visit to last 1 hour - your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Then, the doctor will meet with you to gather additional information starting with an Oral Cancer Screening. Second, your teeth and any existing fillings and crowns are evaluated for potential cavities, leakage or failure. When cracks, failures or leakage is noted a picture will be taken for your evaluation. Third, the health of your gums and surrounding bone will be measured to provide a thourough and comprehensive evaluation to determin the best type of cleaning for you. All the information and pictures gathered during your initial comprehensive appointment will be reviewed with you and the doctor will answer any questions that you may have.
After completion of your first visit we can schedule you for your dental cleaning with one of our Hygienist and any dental treatment you would like to move forward with.

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!
The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleaning or up to four times a year for periodontal maintenance therapy. This allows your dental team to help you keep your teeth and gums healthy.
We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you're preparing to visit the dentist, please remember that your appointments can last between 60 and 90 minutes.
